Dear Chris:
I know nothing about them except a "blurb" in one of the boating mags. A
company called US Charts has a website www.uscharts.com
where they supposedly give charts away. They have a listing of charts
they're willing to give away (mainly Fl, mid-Atlantic, and MA according to
the blurb) in the website.
As always, usual disclaimers apply. Also keep in mind that you are trusting
the safety of both boat and crew to accurate charts. A cause not to be
taken lightly.
Congrats on the new boat. Enjoy her!

I like the BBA Chartbooks. You can get a whole set of charts for a
geographic region for about $100. I think there is book for the
Norfolk-Miami run. Probably another for Florida and the Keys. Anyway,
check out West Marine or Boat US for what's available. If you buy the
chartbooks, they fit a really nice plotter board that BBA sells, too. This
is what I use in addition to my GPS chartplotter.
