The vernal (meaning fresh) equinox is when the sun is directly over the
equator–in other words, the first day of spring! As trees begin to bud and
flowers press out of the ground, our parks and neighborhoods start coming
back to life. The evergreens have stood proud through the winter and are
excited to be joined by their awakening friends. Gather with us at Chinese
Reconciliation Park to enjoy the change of season and the beautiful plants
that fill this waterside park. Be prepared to walk with layers appropriate
to the weather. Our walks happen rain or shine.
Meeting Point: Fuzhou Ting (Chinese Pavilion)
