I mentioned the "Canadian Current Atlas." This is not a current atlas
for all Canadian waters but a government publication that covers the
area from Juan de Fuca Strait to the Strait of Georgia in the PNW. Here
is a website for one of the outfits that sells it, but it has a good
description as well as sample pages. Both the Atlas and the annual
Washburn table are available from most marine stores in the area or
on-line from sellers like Starpath,
http://www.starpath.com/catalog/books/1806.htm And I second Richard's
endorsement of the Ports and Passes tide book. Best one around for the
lower PNW waters in my opinion. Here's the website for it. It, too, is
available at most local marine stores. http://www.portsandpasses.com/
