My recollection is that the bridge clearance on the Erie Barge Canal is 22
feet if you Turn north to Oswego on Lake Ontario. If you continue to Buffalo
on Lake Erie the clearance is ~15 feet depending on water level.

We saw a VERY large commercial cruise boat go thru the canal at Brewerton
NY.

Specifically, what are the options for getting from the Atlantic seaboard
to the St. Lawrence River? My draft is a solid 6 feet and my bridge
clearance is 35 feet, but I'm prepared to remove the mast and carry it
on deck if that's neceessary.
