I erred in stating that Boating on the Hudson has this years fireworks
list. It hasn't been posted yet. What are they waiting for?

However, I managed to dig up a few dates on my own. Fireworks are
scheduled in a number of Hudson River towns from June through August.
Loopers will have a good chance of seeing at least one display.

From earliest to latest:

Kingston -  June 26
Bear Mountain - July 1
Haverstraw - July 1
Ossining - July 1
Congers - July 3
Albany - July 4
Highland - July 4
Saugerties - July 4
Fort Edward - July 8
Peekskill - Aug 6
Clermont - Aug 13

And, of course, there is always the superlative Macy's fireworks display
in New York City on July 4. Check with the USCG for permitted anchorage
locations.

Anchorage in the Hudson is easy for the events at Bear Mountain,
Haverstraw, Ossining and Peekskill. Most are usually combined with
celebrations and festivities ashore earlier in the day.
