Lo all, My Kariba WDB 1043 non vented washer/dryer has a terminal failure. The drum has corroded away from it's drive mechanism. Anybody in the Friday Harbor area wanting to scavenge it for parts is welcome to it. I replaced the motor controller about a year ago so it's fairly new. I know of no other problems with the unit other than the structural failure mentioned above. Those familiar with the area can find me at Jensens Shipyard. I'll be glad to boom the whole unit onto your boat so you can scavenge with abandon. I have wanted a vented unit for years now ... So I guess it's time.
