• Blue Marsh OWS/Cujo Loop Ride this coming weekend!... Our first of six
planned uncoached group workouts at Blue Marsh are scheduled for Saturday
5/15 and Saturday 5/29. Due to some construction in the usual swim spot
(lasting until Memorial Day weekend), we are using a new swim location on
Old Church Rd. for the 5/15 workout only. See event for details...

• First Half IRONMAN Interview coming Thursday night!... Recently Sean
Lodge and Shawn O'Malley both completed their first official Half IRONMAN
event in Galveston, TX. Tune in this Thursday evening at 8:30pm to hear
about their first time experience as they answer questions that may help
you in the leadup to your first 70.3 adventure! Stay tuned for an event
coming soon!

• Gator of the Month Interview with Angela Epelbaum (and watch for the May

• Sponsor Events this weekend!... There are three club sponsor events next
weekend... Scoogie Events' "UnWINEd 5k / Terra Vino Trail Run 5k / Kid's
Grape Juice Run" on Friday 5/14 and Saturday 5/15 and then for Sunday 5/16
there are two... Steelman Racing's "Open Water Classic" and Chester County
Running Store's "Coventry Woods Trail Run"
• Evening Ride Start Time... 6:30pm... Last week was our first week of
6:30pm start times for our Tuesday and Thursday night rides. This will
continue until mid-August and then we'll move back to 6pm.
• Run for FREE Ice Cream and Beer! All Gators receive free entry into the
May 25 edition of "Tuesdays in the Park Ice Cream 5K and Kids' Fun Run" and
all participants receive free ice cream at the end (and, new for 2021,
adults over 21 will also receive a voucher for free beer!). For more

• Run Faster... In preparation for the Ice Cream Run 5K and the June
Saucony Mile and other shorter running events, Gators run coach Karen Dunn
is focusing on how you can improve your speed in her Wednesday night track
workouts. So plan to attend if you'd like to get faster!
So what else is happening this week? It's another busy week! We're offering
6 coached workouts and 2 uncoached workouts over the next 7 days plus
French Creek Racing OWS training options are available on Tuesday,
Thursday, and Saturday!
Also, a reminder to please observe social distancing before, during, and
after any group workouts in which you participate and always have a mask
with you as those are the best way to ensure that we can continue to offer
club cycling, running, and swim workouts.
