From Bev Propen:
07/09/14 - Milford, Milford Point, Connecticut Audubon Coastal Center
-- 10 AM to 1 PM; 2 YELLOW-CROWNED NIGHT-HERONS (1 flyover and 1 on
marsh).

From unknown via Margaret Robbins:
07/09/14 - Brookfield -- A customer of mine from Brookfield had an
adult male Painted Bunting at his feeder on July 8 at 7am. He has not
seen the bird since, but admits he has not had much time for watching
his feeders.

From Chris Loscalzo:
07/08/14 - Guilford, Shell Beach marsh -- evening; 100 Snowy Egrets,
16 Great Egrets, 46 Glossy Ibis plus one WHITE-FACED IBIS and two
TRICOLORED HERON all feeding in a shallow pool in the middle of the
marsh.  The White-faced Ibis was likely the same bird reported from
this location on 7/6 by Paul Wolter and, intriguingly, looks to me to
be a different individual from the one seen in Hammonasset Beach SP
the past few weeks.  This bird had a less well-defined light stripe
around the light face and red eye. The face color seemed different as
well.  Both the Hammo and Shell Beach White-faced Ibis had long,
all-gray decurved bills and were slightly larger than the Glossy Ibis
with which they kept company.
