For the deck and cabin, it will be considerably more given all of the curves
and odd places to tape around etc...by comparison the topsides are wide open
and "easy" to spray.
Little harbour in Rhode Island (Ted Hood's Complex) has an outstanding state
of the art facility."
I guess that my boat is not in the same league as yours, the total cost to
paint Autumn Daze was
under $1000 US, And that included top quality Defoe anti-fouling paint, mind
you, I had to do it myself

That seems completely out of range. Unless I misunderstand you,
topsides to me means waterline to gunwhales and I would be looking at
a few hundred dollars for an average 30+ footer. The hardest part is
usually removing and renewing the name and numbers.
George!!! Wake up!!!!! You were having a dream!!!!!
Good, now you're are awake.
Back in the land of the living, you can't get the yard to haul the boat
for much less than 'a few hundred bucks' . On my 35' trawler, it will take
over $1000 just for paint!!! And thats just the hull!!! The quote was for
2 weeks labor for prep and paint. That = $5000. For just the Hull!!!!
Top sides the Quote was $8,000 more.
For a 'few hundred bucks' you might get 1 coat of Gliddens Semi-gloss with a
roller. :<)
Oh, how I wish it were true!!
