Trout Brook Valley Orchard Coyote warning

Upon arriving in the orchard at 5:15 this morning, within 30 seconds  I was
met with a very large coyote at the top of the orchard who seemed to be
clearly defending territory.  It began barking relentlessly at me and has
not stopped, despite me backing slowly all the way down to the blueberry
patch. It pursued me as I backed away, but it maintained distance, well
enough at least. Probably 20 yds. It did not want me anywhere near the top
of the orchard. Been here many times, and never had an encounter of this
kind. It appeared to be a very healthy animal, and not behaving erratically
or unpredictably aggressive. It's still barking, btw...
