Has anyone used Blue Heron Marine for an internet purchase, good or bad?
What is being advertised on web sites and real life seem to be quite different.
Thanks in advance.

I just used them for the first time - quick shipment and great price on an
Airmar depth, speed and water transducer for my Raymarine system. Now if I
could just find the time to install it.

FWIW...
Blue Heron appears to be a resurrection of Jack Rabbit Marine that went
belly-up in 2008. The domains appear to be linked, the same name appears
with both. Although Jack Rabbit Marine's website is gone, the domain is
still registered to Peter James who is the contact I dealt with when I
purchased from Jack Rabbit, and is listed as the owner of Blue Heron domain.

There was some chatter on Panbo about some customers being left
holding the bag during the demise of JR. The Blue Heron website bears a
resemblance to the former Jack Rabbit site.
I have not personally used Blue Heron, although I bought numerous items
from JR with no problems, and received pretty good service. You may find
this information helpful, interesting, or useless. YMMV.
