Tinkering production has been inspired around these parts by Leprechauns, tiny cork trolls, magical gardens and feathered friends. Around Earth Day each year, we are reminded of the talented folks who visit us daily, making a difference by donating fun stuff and creating AWESOME art with scrap and trash. Creativity and caring for the planet are some of my favorite things! April 22nd was our FREE “Earth Day Celebration!” We were up with the good folks at *FEAST ART CENTER* and the *Tahoma Audubon Society*, joining forces for an afternoon of honoring our feathered friends! ​ BIRTHDAY BONANZA!! WOW!! Thank you to all the JR. TINKER CADETS who have had their birthdays celebrated in the Tinkerspace! March and April were booked up solid. Lots of happy builders paraded through the shop with imaginative creations. Remember that when there is a party booking, the Tinkerspace is closed to public building sessions. You can count on Saturday mornings as a reliable session for coming down. Session starts at 10am when the doors open. Know any kiddo that would swoon for their party here? May and June still have room (And it’s not just for kids, adult after-hour parties are a blast too)! UPDATE: Sunday WORKSHOP POWER PUNCH PALS!! Wow! Super Sunday workshop activation has been in full force! Here’s what’s coming up for spring. Sunday workshops are geared toward having fun with a mix of ages, super family friendly.
