with you that diesel fuel is so cheap, it is foolish to put such a high
priority on low fuel consumption. It is one thing to be fuel conscious if
one is crossing oceans but for the way most of us use our trawlers, this
is a specious argument. If only all these folks that are equipping their
"Sea Bulldozers" and then only use them for coastal cruising would just
enjoy their boats and forget about all the hype. I would guess that only
about 5% of the typical trawlerites actually make ocean crossing on their
