Calling all Tacoma artists and art lovers! Do you remember the first time you got inspired by the arts in Tacoma? Was it an event you witnessed? Was it something you created? Do you recall a one-of-a-kind performance in an unusual venue? A festival that brought your neighborhood together? Creativity is alive in Tacoma but too much of our city’s vibrant art history has gone unrecorded and untold. That’s why ArtCity is creating the Tacoma Mapping Project <https://www.artcitytacoma.com/contributors>, an interactive timeline and multimedia archive that will depict our city's arts and culture scene from the 1990s to today. At the ArtCity Tacoma Mapping Workshop at 11:00 am on December 14 <https://www.artcitytacoma.com/mapping-workshop>, you are invited to share your memories and help create this living history. Whether you witnessed a groundbreaking show at the Washington State History Museum, attended a glassblowing demonstration, discovered an artist at a small gallery, or caught an incredible music set — your experience matters.
