We got some here too, found by Russ Smiley. Still there at 2:30 when I had to leave for a meeting.  Middle of lake south of big island.  Need a scope or telephoto to identify.  Sears Park is on the west side of lake, or you can park in CVS lot and cross Rt 66 to small public space at end of lake.  Either place you are they’ll probably closer to the other.  Boyant flight, diving to about 6” off of water and picking up the same insects the swallows are feeding on.  Very cool event.

I am curious if the terns on other lakes are also feeding on insects above the water, plankton or fish?

Birds on Bantam Lake were doing the same behaviors.
