Lighthouse Point Hawk Watch Weds.

8/27 - New Haven, Lighthouse Point Park Hawkwatch from 7-12:30 - 31 raptors including 4 BALD EAGLES (1 adult, 1 subadult, 2 juvenile), 2 American Kestrels, 2 Red-tailed Hawks, 1 Red-shouldered Hawk, 3 Sharp-shineed Hawks, 2 Cooper's Hawks, 6 Northern Harriers, and 11 Osprey.  Many smaller migrants including Red-winged Blackbirds, House FInches, Bobolink, Hummingbirds, and many Tree Swallows.

Interesting that there are already 10's of thousands of Tree Swallows nightly displaying the "Sunset Ballet" over Calves Island in the CT River.
