The problem seems not to be in you stl or slicer or print. Calibrate your
capiler!

2017-03-12 16:09 GMT-03:00 nophead nop.head@gmail.com:

So you get an object that looks like this?

http://forum.openscad.org/file/n20858/holes.png

I just can't see how that can happen when the STL is correct. The outside
dimensions have increased by 10 and the hole diameters have increased by 9
and now overlap?

If I don't feel really stupid right now. This is a new set of calipers and
they were off by 10mm.

Really sorry guys, thank for all of the help.

Close the jaws and press zero button before your measurements. Or change
batteries.

the delima I am facing

Remove the object, clean the caliper's jaws, close them so they are
touching, press the yellow ZERO button, and the display will read 0.00 mm.

Measure your objects again to resolve your dilemma.

Protip: Always verify an instrument's zero before measuring anything.

You've got to admit that's funny. Are you more of an inches user, rather than
metric? I'm just surprised you didn't look at the part, particularly the
thickness, and think "that's never 12mm thick!" And then look for some other
reason. Shame you didn't measure one of the other parts you had already
printed and measured as being correct, I think you would have realised your
mistake a lot sooner!

Yea, I'm sure I'm going to hear about this for a LONNNNNNG time.  :) It is
some new metric calipers I bought just for this. I have mechanical ones I
use for inches. I don't know why I didn't think to measure something I had
already created. The only thing I can attribute it to is age.
