11/24/13 - New Haven, Bradley and Lincoln -- The juvenile Red-headed
Woodpecker continues at the NW corner.  It was quite active in the
early afternoon picking acorns off the tree on the other side of the
house and caching them in the tree where it has been perching.  Looks
like it's planning on staying.

11/24/13 - Madison backyard - 7:00 FOX SPARROW under our feeder,
scratching through leaves.

11/24/13 - Hamden, yard -- Yellow-bellied Sapsucker hanging around the
yard this morning picking at bittersweet fruit and drilling holes in
the Scotch Pine.

From Rob Ballinger:
11/24/13 - Newington, yard -- Fox Sparrow, second record for the yard.

From Larry Flynn:
11/24/13 - Norwalk, about 1 mile inland -- around 10:50 AM; 7 SANDHILL
CRANES struggling to fly west- norwest towards the Darien, Stamford,
Greenwich area.

From Robert Dixon:
11/24/13 - Sterling, Sterling Pond -- GREATER WHITE-FRONTED GOOSE (2)
in with 300+ Canada Geese (viewed from Church St. around 1:00 PM).
Sterling yard -- FOX SPARROW, and a record (30) NORTHERN CARDINAL at
one time just before dusk.

11/24/13 - Milford, Law High School pond -- 4 male Eurasian Wigeons
present from 2:30-3:00 PM.
