At the north pathway off Hall's Rd. and near the north platform on the west
side of Whitby's Cranberry Marsh the following birds relished George's seeds
on Sun. Feb.10, just before the rain moved in: 50 Red-winged Blackbird,
several Rusty Bb, male & female White-winged Crossbill (they have become a
fixture of late), 5 Swamp Sparrow, 10 Song Sp., many Am.Tree Sp.,2
White-throated Sp., House Finch,Cardinal,Blue Jay,Dark-eyed Junco and many
Chickadees.
