A Spirited Ride

Someone pointed out that perhaps I had made the 5PM TUE Amica's Group Ride
sound a little too intimidating.

To clarify, this is a spirited ride, and some (not all) riders may take off
at certain points offering a little friendly competition.

We try to regroup by slowing down and waiting for each other, or flipping
it on an out and back route.

As a matter of fact, we often choose routes that flip back in order to pick
people up, and there is usually plenty of flat road that allows a large
group to stay together in the draft.

We have been attracting a group of co-ed cyclists of varying speed.  We all
ride together very nicely.  There are plenty of sections where talking and
social banter take precedence.

Please come out and give the ride a try.  It is a fun group of enthusiastic
cyclists who are interested in a ride that builds strength and fitness.

To clarify, this ride leaves from Amica's at 5PM every Tuesday evening.
Amica's is our main sponsor located at 136 E 2nd St in Salida.

We have been allowing 5 minutes for late comers, but we have been leaving
fairly promptly (unlike years past).

It looks like it will be a beautiful day to ride this Tuesday.

I hope to see you there.
