Happy Summer from the Landscape Committee!
The Landscape Committee is actively working to enhance our beautiful neighborhood and surrounding areas. Last month the Board approved funding to add seasonal color and mulch to many of our common areas. You may have noticed the vibrant new plantings on the esplanade as well as at the East Entrance. We also recently worked with the City of Bellevue to clean up the pedestrian walkway on 92nd outside the West Entrance. Any questions or concerns can be addressed to us at landscape@vuecrest.netmailto:landscape@vuecrest.net.
Enjoy the Summer!

Good Neighbor Compliance Committee updates
Since the Vuecrest Fine and Enforcement Policy became effective in June 2024, the Board developed a process to help engage neighbors, track and bring potential issues/violations to resolution via an updated Good Neighbor Compliance committee approach. Below is a visual to better understand what the committee does and how the process works.
Chris Bodiford, former Vuecrest President, has agreed to chair this new committee. The Good Neighbor Committee had its' first meeting on July 1st. Four (4) cases; one resolved, one agreed to be resolved, one is pending investigation, and one is being referred to the Board for further action. Overall, the process is working well while continuing to be improved.
Thank you to all involved thus far. Please contact Chris at goodneighbor@vuecrest.netmailto:goodneighbor@vuecrest.net if you have interest in joining this fun, helpful committee or have a concern you need help.
Hope to see you at the next meeting!

Vuecrest Community Clean-up day June 14th
Vuecrest Community Clean-up day dumpsters returned on June 14 to 16th and you all rallied and made the most of cleaning out!
We filled three large dumpsters with Recycle, Yard Waste, and Garbage. Special “thank you” to Mike & Roslyn Ellison for allowing us to place the dumpsters near their home for everyone to access and neighbors like James & Marily Arensberg (pictured) keeping it clean throughout the weekend!

-
Brick walls being re-sealed to protect against weather and other damage
-
Street lights and post cleaning to keep them looking their best
-
Vuecrest entrance signs being refurbished during the July/August timeframe so they stay shiny and welcoming for years to come!
-
Trimming or removal of overgrown plantings from areas to help improve intersection sightlines
-
Irrigation repairs and alterations to keep the plants and grass happy 😊
Trash/Recycle/Yard waste tote etiquette
Here’s a few reminders regarding trash/recycle/yard waste tote etiquette in the Vuecrest community;
- Totes should be put out the day before collection and then pulled back in the day after collection
- Totes should be stored on your property in a place not visible from the street
- Place totes at or nearest the end of your driveway for collection only
- Secure all bin lids in the down position, especially the garbage bin to ensure lids are down and garbage is contained and helps keep birds and other critters from making a mess before collection
- Ask a neighbor to put your totes out or bring them in if you are planning to be out of town
- Never leave totes out on the street for an extended period of time
- Promptly clean-up any trash or other debris that may have occurred near your property during collection day
