Discussion and technical support related to USRP, UHD, RFNoC
View all threadsYeah, I see this too. I thought something didn’t look right - see my attached screenshot. I’m using UHD 3.7.1 and a B200. (I know the UHD version is old - it’s on a deployed system want to test UHD 3.9x for stability first).
The screen cap is with a gain around 50 and 25MSPS on an unterminated TX/RX. Really should probably terminate it w/50 Ohms for this measurement.
Looks like it’s about 30dB above the noise floor to me...

Subject: [USRP-users] B210 10 MHz GPSDO leakage into Rx

Hi,
I have a USB3 B210 with the GPSDO installed.
When I run uhd_fft using an VERT2450 on TX/RX port, with a high enough
sample rate, I see two well defined tones at +/-10 MHz from the center
frequency. When I touch the GPSDO can with my finger, the received
power from the tones goes up a few dB.
I guess this proves that the GPSDO 10 MHz is being picked up by the B210
RF frontend somehow (and that I'm an antenna).
Aside from the obvious RF shielding, is there a way to mitigate some of
this leakage by configuring the B210 a certain way?
Has anyone else noticed this?
Does anyone know if the 10 MHz leaks out on transmit as well?
I'm using UHD_003.008.004-0-g93011c14.
Thanks.
