Dawgs: SCGA Fore Magazine for Fall 2022 highlights the difficulties facing golfers at this fabulous golf course in Lompoc and the home of our annual Ryder Cup event since 2014. For those brave 24 dawgs that made the trek to our 2022 Ryder Cup this year, they noticed the vast improvements of the course conditions this year from a few years past. Kudos to Russ Sandy the new GM of La Purisima GC and Stacie Correa, the course tournament director, who convince the new owner to invest their money to improve the overall course conditions. Our group will be back there again in 2023 (8/17-8/20/23). I hope to have a larger participation than this year. We have about 12 guys committed for this event(Bandon Dunes 1: 3/27-31/23).
