Work independently while understanding the necessity for communicating and coordinating work efforts with other employees and organizations.
Essential Duties:
This position is responsible for teaching dance instruction from ages 3 to 12 years enrolled in the Metro Arts dance program, providing fun and exciting classes, and communicating with parents. This position will be required to check email and phone messages frequently for updates on program information and be dedicated to positively representing the Metro Arts brand. Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
Must be comfortable around students ages 3 to 12 years
Dance experience required
Ability to teaching classes through June 2014 or longer desired
Experience teaching dance classes preferred
Must be knowledgeable about dance techniques and the capability to produce choreography for class performances
Must be organized, observant of deadlines, and have excellent communication skills with supervisor, parents and students
Additional Information:
This position is an at-will position with no written or implied contractual agreement.
Classes will be scheduled on either Mon, Tue, Wed, Thurs, or Sat (agreed upon in advance with the successful candidate) .
