Chimney Swifts

Chimney Swifts appear to have done well in my neck of the burbs this summer.
Last evening, while walking a dog around my block, I saw at least 22 swifts -
one flock with 14.
I've been hearing and seeing swifts in many locales around Old Greenwich
and Riverside - more than I've seen in previous years.  For the third year in
a row, a group has nested in one of the chimneys at Old Greenwich school.
Nice to see at least one species doing well.
