NEW BLUE MAX BELT DRIVEN GENERATOR

4500 Watts@120 volts.

For specs and details go to Fabco.com

you have to phone in for current price.

My price with regulator is $500. My unit has never been installed as would
be verified by an inspection of the wiring.

This unit is used on ambulances and other emergency vehicles from what I
can see this is their core business. When I bought mine I had a 5KW diesel
generator and never got around to switching it out. This is the best system
I can imagine for cruisers boat especially if you don't now have a diesel
generator. Alternators clearly cannot produce enough juice at 14 V. With a
modest charger you can top off the batteries, use tools and stoves during
charging period and therefore will only require a modest inverter. The unit
is small but heavy (32 lbs) and you very well might need a professional to
install the unit. But you are going to get a reliable source of electricity
for thousands less and absent the mess and fuss of a 5KW diesel generator
or the danger of a gasoline generator placed on deck.

If you're interested please go to the website and decide if my analysis is
correct.
