Louise Smith to Teach Beginning Botanical Watercolor Class

LAKEWOOD, WA - Lakewold Gardens is very pleased to announce its partnership
with local award-winning artist and noted botanical art instructor, Louise
Smith. From March 2nd - April 28th Louise will teach an eight week
introductory watercolor class in botanical art at the gardens.

Louise Smith's course is designed in a step by step fashion and is
appropriate for seasoned and beginning artists alike. Students will learn
the primary skills necessary for the completion of botanical watercolor.
Homework is recommended though not required. For participant's convenience,
classes are offered during two time slots: Track 1 - Mondays from
6:30pm-9:00pm beginning on March 2nd or Track 2 - Tuesdays from
10:00am-12:30pm beginning on March 3rd.

The fee for this course is $200 for members of Lakewold and $225 for
non-members. Participants will need to purchase supplies for the class. To

year-round for tours; April-September, 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. - winter

for adults; $3 for students, seniors, and military; and free for children 12
and under.
