Peggy Hall gave me a great referral to

"gocctech.com/marine/boat-tank.htm" for a new holding tank.

They are a small family owned business located in Cranston, RI, 2 hours from
me in W. Mass.

They gas weld 3/8's polypropelene (sp?) to your specs.

Mine is a lg triangulr shape with a blunt 4" nose and flared sides, will end
up being 40 -50 gals.

They are installing: three 1.5" female ports on the top of the tank, one fill
and 2 pumpouts w/ tubes going to the bottom of the tank.  Also one 1" vent,
an inspection hatch and one interior baffle.

$660.00

I dropped off my "plywood mock up" on Monday and toured the plant.

They are very professional and friendly, I even met w/ Arthur who will
actually be constructing the tank.  This is a very small portion of their business,
they make up all kinds of tanks for all sorts of nasty applications, so this
_hit is easy!

I'll re-post once I get the tank; I'm sure I'm going to be very pleased, as
I've spoken to many companies in this quest for a new tank!

Thanks to all who advised me on tanks, and especially to Peggy for this tip!

Now to order the aussie hose!

When you, or anybody for that matter, get your new tank, test it before
installing it. Just block it level and fill with water. Even the best of
the best sometimes make a mistake.

A friend of ours decided to test his new holding tank before installing
it and found a small leak in a bottom corner. Testing before installing
saved him quite a bit of labor. It also saved him a messy bilge clean up
because the corner that was leaking was in a location that could not be
seen once installed.
