It`s undeniable that the combined experience/knowledge of all list participants may benefit us. Topics such as electronics, diesels and refrigeration for example, are of immense interest to us all, regardless of where we live.

However, may I suggest that info about...say 'good anchorages in the Bahamas' may not be as relevant to those who live far from that specific area and whom may never cruise those waters. This isnt said as an ethnocentric pejorative, but as a reflection of geography. Ill be cruising the Barrier Reef/PNG/Solomons/ Vanuatu long before I get to the Caribbean.

So........ are there any 'aussies' who wish to dabble in a bit of private discourse...rather than clutter the list...about our geographic backyard ?  Please let me know.

Is suggesting this a breach of list etiquette? If so I do apologise, as it`s certainly not my intention to affront anyone.

Cheers 'Pedro'
