We made it.  Three sailboats and Jenny left Mayaguana at 5:00 AM yesterday, traveled together, came in here and set anchor around noon.  It was kind of typical "good" Caribbean sea as forecast.  The good weather is uncomfortable but safe.  The chop sorely tests the stabilizer system though.  The American sailboat in the group caught a Mahi Mahi juust coming in and invited us all to dinner.  In a little while I'll get the dinghy down.

It looks like the Bahamas in the pictures here.  Turquoise water over while sand, a balmy breeze, and a zillion boats.  It is very picturesque.  Apparently a lot of boats spend the winter here and it is easy to see why.  We are anchored by stocking island where there appears to be a beach restaurant and a nice beach to walk Nicholas in the morning.  I am sure he will be thrilled to get on dry land again.  He really gets upset by these passages and is so glad when they are over.

I'm going to try to find out the schedule for Catching UP and Spirit and see if I can meet them here before proceeding.  Otherwise, I'll stay here for a couple of weeks and then start working my way northeast again.  From here you get in behind one of the continuous coral banks and kind of pick you way from anchorage to anchorage in day hops.  So, it should be nice and easy right up until the last jump to the states.

There are several trawlers of all brands here and I picked a spot that is kind of among them.  It would be nice to meet them and hear their stories.

I have to find out if there is WiFi here.  That would bbe nice.  Tomorrow I will dinghy across the bay, check into the Bahamas, take in the laundry, and do a little exploring.
