Jeff,
What would be a good phone from Verizon.
Thanks,

What would be a good phone from Verizon.
I've gotten 5 private emails asking similar things. My rule of thumb is
that if you've never had mobile phone with email, go with Palm OS. You
won't be unhappy. It's simpler but has been proven by millions of previous
users. If you're familiar with these higher-end phones, then you should
consider Windows Mobile and the iPhone (although the iPhone is only AT&T for
now). My problem with this generation of the iPhone is that you can't
"tether" it to your laptop to give it internet access. It means needing an
air card with another mobile plan, monthly fees, etc. These are all
considerations when cruising.
Looking at Verizon for a new smartphone user, I'd look at the Treo 700p
($150) and 755p ($250) but only if you need one this week. There are so
many rumors about a Verizon Centro coming out soon - like this:

If Verizon releases the Centro, it'll be $99 or less. It's smaller than the
Treo's and been extremely popular. I would suspect that they'd include the
same EVDO/IS95/CDMA2000 phone as on the 755p but it is something to check.
