Subject: Fw: I-10 bridge
Picture proof.......
This is the I10 bridge that was pretty much destroyed by hurricane Ivan, The
east bound lane, which is closest to you will only be able to support 1 lane
& it is pretty much mostly metal grate road now. They now say they plan to
build a new bridge. This bridge is normally 20 or 30 feet above the water at
the lowest point. The bridge in the background is the railroad bridge & it
is operating normal today.

You can see the half of the trailer in the far left and I suspect that storm
surge was even higher at some point. I don't know who took the picture but
they probably shouldn't have been out in the storm at this point.
