Hi John - It appears that earlier N'havn's had feathering Max-props and they changes to folding 2-blade props. I had always heard that folding props sometimes had problems opening and so I surmise that the rationale for the switch, if this is true, was that even feathering props were "catching" lines and nets. Any info appreciated. I am the owner of Nordhavn 6202 M/V Bonne Vie. I infact do have a 3 bladed max prop. When I use allot of reverse thrust. The prop will open and I will have to start the get home engine to fold the prop. This rarely happens so I have not instituted any changes.
