What that means is that if temperatures and other weather conditions are

It's 5KO Week: This week is a special week for us as we host the 5th annual
5KO event that was started by past Gator Tiff Pfluger who will once again
be there this year. It takes place at the Reynolds Dog Park in Oaks where a
bench and tree memorialize Kristen Oswald in whose honor we participate in
5KO. It takes place at 9am. It's a 5K out and back that you can complete at
anything from walking to blazing fast running speed. It is not timed or
competitive... It's just an opportunity for us to remember Kristen around
the time of her birthday. If you plan to attend, please indicate "Going" on

This serves as your weekly list of our club workouts and, for the 26 weeks
of fall and winter, your opportunity to post any completed Gator Fitness
Challenge weekly challenges including the SBR Challenge (i.e. complete at
least 45 minutes of swimming AND cycling/spinning AND running) and the SCF
Challenge (at least 45 minutes total of combined strength, core, and/or
flexibility workouts).
If you completed the SBR Challenge, the SCF Challenge, or both last week
(March 4-10), please post a comment indicating which challenges you
completed. Your results will be added to our tracking sheet.

was recently added to our club coaching staff as our 6th coach. David
led his first workout this past Thursday at our evening SVY indoor pool
swim.
- Workout Updates: For this week we have a few updates including that
our youth Gators will be doing a swim workout on Monday night, we
transition back to Wednesday night swim workouts at 7:35pm-8:35pm (no more
Thursday night swim workouts), and we are discontinuing the weeknight Zwift
Club rides due to lack of interest (we will continue to offer Thursday
night Zwift TTT rides and Saturday morning Gators Zwift Club rides).
- Gatorthon Donations: At last count we were at $895 towards our goal of
$1,000. If you are able to donate and have not yet had an opportunity to

- Uniforms Update: Our uniform order was a bit scattered this year
leading to most items not reaching the minimum quantities to be printed.

- Gators March Madness is well underway and I believe that we have
around 20 athletes safely through the first 10 days. How many will make it
all the way through day 31?
- Mid-Atlantic Multisport OWS Discount expires on Friday 3/15: Just a
reminder that the $25 season pass discount ends this coming Friday. To take
