Racing

Meeting - Wednesday, April 25th, 7:30 pm

Wednesday Night Racing Meeting - must attendance for all racers

Review of the 2018 Notice of Race, Sailing Instructions, PHRF changes, and
Scoring Rules

1st Wednesday Night Race - May 2nd 6:30 pm

Cruising

Shakedown - 1st cruise of the year Friday thru Sunday May 11th - 13th.
Weather dependent

At the Boat Club! Get used to being on your boat at night.what to
bring?.stocking your boat?.coming in and leaving the dock?.meet your fellow
cruisers.

Friday evening - dinner on the patio and spend the night on your boat on
your mooring.

Saturday - bring your boat into the dock for a washing. Join the Opening Day
festivities at noon. Go for a sail! Dinner in the BBQ area, or on your boat.
Get a blissful night sleep on your own mooring, or go anchor off of Hook
Mountain in Upper Nyack for practice.

Sunday - breakfast on your boat, or on the patio. Go for a sail, or race
around the buoys for fun. Head home happy at the end of a perfect sailing
weekend. (Please contact Morris or Lee if interested.)

2nd cruise of May - The plan  for May 26 - 27th -  weather dependent

Saturday afternoon - leave Nyack at, or around, 4 pm

Follow the leader to Croton Point (~ 2 hour sail)

Incoming current after 4 pm

Raft up to others, or drop your own hook

Have dinner on your boat, socialize, or read a good book

Sunday - breakfast on your boat and sail or motor home to Nyack Outgoing
current after 10 am
