Sonic Heroes: Tacoma Community College Orchestra - John Falskow, conductor I will be conducting the college orchestra in a concert called “Sonic Heroes.” Our program explores the idea or heroism in music. We will perform Verdi’s Overture to Nabucco and Beethoven’s Symphony No. 3. It is an exciting program! The Beethoven symphony is a massive symphonic work, filled with drama and tenderness. I will be giving a brief talk abbot the symphony, explaining some ideas you will experience in the performance.
