So we have 110GB of Videos... that need to get smaller.
I did an experiment with Handbrake encoding to H.264/MPEG-4 (.m4v).
From 2.6GB .MOV from the camear to 218MB:
http://esug.org/data/ESUG2011/Videos/26-Friday/
VLC can play this. So if people are fine with this, we would use it on all the
videos and GC the original files.

A couple years ago Goran did a lot of work on this, and the emails we
exchanged are in this list's archive. I don't know if you had a chance
to look at them, but I'd strongly suggest doing so because of all the
tuning etc that went into making videos REALLY small (IIRC ~70 minutes
for ~70mb or so).
