Beth Jacob, the consultant NCL has been working with on messaging for AEFL week, sent the attached draft one-pagers last night. She is requesting your feedback today. Please "reply all" to the list with any comments, and that way Beth will get them too. Thank you for reviewing them,

Hi all,
As promised, attached please find three versions of the one-pager, each labeled for a different audience. The substance of each is the same, with a different ending/ask tailored to each target. If you and your colleagues could take a look and share feedback with me by the end of tomorrow, I'll go ahead and make the necessary changes so we can get this to the designer ASAP. Of course, if you have substantive questions or concerns, I would be happy to talk by phone. I'm available most of the day tomorrow, so just let me know. You'll also notice a few places have language that the organization can tailor more to their specific needs. My plan was to have the designer create these as editable files that users can customize with their own logos and contact information, and they can make adjustments to the text as needed in those spots. Once formatted, these should run one-page front and back, with plenty of white space and some strong imagery to make them easily readable and compelling.
I know we're operating on a tight timeline here, but on the plus side, I do think these are sufficiently evergreen that they can be useful to your members in future years. As I mentioned before, I think you could also offer folks both the designed one-pagers and the overarching messages for them to use in other communication materials as they see fit.
Looking forward to your feedback, and all the best,
Beth
Hi,
I like the thrust of these fact sheets, but the purpose and audience are
unclear. When I get to the last paragraph/section it starts reading like a
fact sheet that NCL would provide its members that they can adapt for their
context and audience, which I think would be useful. If that's the purpose
then the section titled "Our biggest week of the year" doesn't make sense.
I don't think NCL members would send this out to their local target
audiences as NCL but under their own name. That's where I get confused.

Thank you, Silja, for your input on the one-pagers. I agree that the thrust is right where it should be. When I read the first few, I felt they really captured the need and value very well - and the passion we talked about on the phone call. What do others on the board think? I know Beth is looking forward to all our input...
