The dove was still hanging around that same intersection this morning. I was there about 9:30 and was able to find it immediately. It pretty much kept to the bare top of the tallest pine tree, calling often, making it very easy to locate. The position in the tree is ideal for seeing the underside of the tail feathers without having to wait for it to fly.
