From Steve Spector Buff-breasted Sandpiper, Milford Point main sandbar 8/26 8:30 AM
Sent from my iP
9:15AM: I missed the buff-breasted sandpiper but saw a juvenile red
phalarope flying north beyond the outer gravel bar. It appeared to be a
ruddy turnstone until I saw it land on the water. I took off shortly
afterwards and west toward Stratford.

Frank M looked at images on back of camera and thinks red-necked phalarope
more likely.
