Music from the most popular video games of all time. Tacoma Symphony Orchestra will perform along with exclusive video footage and music arrangements, synchronized lighting, solo performers, electronic percussionists, live action and unique interactive segments to create an explosive entertainment experience! Come early! Doors open at 6:30 p.m. As part of the pre-show events - there will be a Guitar Hero competition and the winner gets the chance to play live on stage with Tommy and the Tacoma Symphony Orchestra. And there is a Costume Contest with prizes and other prize give-aways. After the show join the meet-and-greet with top game composers and designers.

The band actively participates in international mariachi festivals in order to promote the pride of the genre and encourage young mariachis to pursue lifelong careers. For five generations Mariachi Vargas has endured as the quintessential mariachi, appearing in more than 200 films and making numerous recordings.
