At Anchor beach in Milford with grandkids this morning. What I thought was plastic washed up, is " white" seed weed.  This is not normal ? Right?  Some green seed weed but lots of white bleached out seed weed.

There is a white seaweed we used to harvest as children growing up on
seacoast NH.  My mother made it into pudding called blancmange.
