Thank you to everyone who expressed their appreciation of CTBirds and what it provides to our birding community, as well as for my work here.  Please give Chuck Imbergamo the same sort of support and appreciation I have enjoyed and I am sure CTBirds will continue to serve us all well.

Please remember that everything COA does is done by volunteers, most of whom work in obscurity without the recognition I have received.  Whether it is membership, or the treasurer, scheduling field trips or creating the annual meeting, there is a lot of work going on we don't directly see.  (As well as work we do see, like The Connecticut Warbler, and the COA Bulletin.)   Please recognize the contributions of the officers, the board, and everyone working to make the many aspects of the COA function.  My hat's off to them all!
Perhaps some of you might find it possible to volunteer to lend a hand in some way.  Even when that is not possible, consider providing support simply by becoming (or remaining) a member.
Thanks, and good birding!
