ENJOYING HYPNOSIS FOR A BETTER LIFE
Hypnosis is normal, natural and safe, something like day-dreaming. You will
never encounter any problems when you use self-hypnosis. However, never try
to hypnotize anyone else, unless you have had professional hypnotism
training. Problems are rare, and only occur with inexperienced people
hypnotizing others.
Everyone experiences hypnosis differently. Reports sometimes include
floating, tingling, heaviness, lightness, drifting, etc. Others feel that
their consciousness has floated outside their body and they are looking at
their body which appears heavy, limp, relaxed. You will have your own
unique experience which is yours alone, because everyone is a unique person.
The more you let go and just enjoy it, the more it will happen. You do not
have to try hard to do anything. Just forget about everything for a while
and R-E-L-A-X.
Here are some misconceptions many people believe. You might not awaken from
hypnosis. People cannot keep secrets in hypnosis. You can be made to do
anything in hypnosis. It must be perfectly quiet to hypnotize. The TRUTH is
that everyone comes out of hypnosis; people can refuse information and lie
in hypnosis, if they want to do so; people CANNOT be forced to follow any
suggestions that are of an illegal or immoral nature; and I have hypnotized
people in the middle of noisy exhibition midways, with thousands of people
talking, shouting and applauding.
You do not have to make your mind a "blank". Just relax yourself and then
seed the positive suggestions over and over and over to your mind. This
will change your feelings, thoughts and behaviour, as you wish. After
hypnosis, most people remember what has happened in the session. SIMPLE
STEPS TO HYPNOTIZE YOURSELF:

WRITE OUT YOUR SUGGESTIONS POSITIVELY, WHAT YOU WANT TO ACCOMPLISH.
PICK A KEY 1-2 WORDS WHICH SUMMARIZE THE SUGGESTION.

HYPNOTIZE YOURSELF. Tense up, let go all over. Deep breaths. Let
your eyes roll upwards into your head, under your closed eyelids. Relax
each part of your body. Relax your eyes to the point that they feel too
heavy to bother opening. Drain away tensions. Think of a time and place
when you were very relaxed. Use all your senses. For example, see yourself
relaxing on the warm soft sand of a beach; hearing the waves splash against
the rocks; feeling the sand between your toes; smelling the fresh ocean
air; tasting the ocean water. You can see, imagine or remember what it was
like. When you remember a pleasant experience, you will feel good.

THINK ABOUT THE 1-2 KEY WORDS. See, imagine your success as having
been accomplished long ago. See yourself months or years in the future.

THINK "At the count of 5, I'll be wide awake, following all my
suggestions, automatically, effortlessly."
