We are Canadians who started the loop in 2004 and have spent the last three
years dawdling along in no hurry to return to Canada. Our experiences while
cruising in the Untied States have been 99% positive and we've enjoyed all
the places we have visited but most particularly the people. We have always
been treated with respect, patience and gentle humour...(Yes, that's not a
typo...it's how we spell humor in Canada!)
If someone had just joined the list recently they would have a vary slanted
and biased overview of the topics of discussion and the usually, very helpful,
information that is passed along! We have monitored the list since 2003
and have found it to be an invaluable treasure trove of information.....Let's
get back to boating! It's a lot more fun!
For those of you who are considering passing Canada by....you will miss some
of the most beautiful and arguably best fresh water cruising grounds in
North America! The Great Lakes, Georgian Bay and particularly the North Channel
offer a unique experience to those who travel on their waters! Besides,
despite our funny language (EH?) we aren't bad folks....gosh, most of us are
really a lot like you (all)!
It's really not that bad a place to spend some quality time!
