iPhone branch: no audio over 3G

Hi all,

We've been able to build the iPhone branch and have had great results over
Wi-Fi, though there is no audio when connecting over the 3G network.

We suspect it has something to do with NAT and/or we should be using a STUN
server. Are we on the right track with that?

Has anyone else had this problem?

Thank you,

Did you solve the problem?
Cause we also had the same problem while connecting over the 3g net.

I am able to make calls over 3g just fine with libraries that I compiled
from the trunk version yesterday afternoon.

Hi Maya,

Using the new trunk, we're still unable to make calls over 3G. It connects,
just doesn't pass audio either direction. Please let us know if you figure
it out.

Brad: are you using a STUN or TURN server to bypass any IP issues?

Thanks,
Joe

Hello,

I didn't look iphone audio implementation in pjsip, but bsd socket on
iphone don't allow to wake up 3G connection.
It works because you enabled 3G connection before.

Maybe it possible to use high level API of iPhone, but I think this
solution will do many changes in pjsip.

Regards

Samuel
