5/7. Waterford, Harkness SP - the previously reported TRICOLORED HERON continues now. With scope from entrance road just before parking lot, I can see it at the far west side of the tidal wetland/marsh.

Harkness SP 5/7, continued-
Plus 147 COMMON EIDERS (many adult males), 1 BLACK SCOTER(adult male) - mostly among rocks off SE side of park, viewed from shoreline flagpole area.

One more species of note at Harkness-
A female NORTHERN HARRIER flying low over the western side of the tidal marsh, behind 10 Westcott Rd.

Very nice Frank! Might be the most Eiders in one location in CT that I
am aware of.
