RON OFFERS -
Over time, our marketplace society is based upon voting with
our pocketbooks. On the rare occasions when we buy a new yacht and it comes
with a great electronics package at a great price, perhaps we should tell
them to shove the package if we have learned that the product line or brand
is unreliable. We should vote with our feet. If we get caught with a bad
product we should scream like heck! Most people do not do that.

Great Advice!
On two occasions I met a customer who decided to buy a particular model boat but
declined to have any equipment installed.
In fact one boat was delivered without appliances.

The owner then  had the  boat fitted with his particular choice of electronics
and appliances.
In both cases the owners concerned were experienced boaters and had done their
homework.
They knew exactly what brands they wanted and which installers they trusted to
do the work.
Not a bad way to go.
