My research deals with diagrammatic reasoning in early Song adaptations of classical cosmological sources (taking up some ideas from the philosophy of mathematics as well as media studies). I am also working on traditional Chinese punctuation from a linguists perspective. A third area of interest are the development of new ways to visualize results from automated text mining and topic modeling (especially for interdisciplinary audiences).
