We had hundreds of folks come to the three libraries (Mottet, South Tacoma, and Fern Hill) to hear them read and to have them sign a copy of the book. It was a magical day and the Tacoma Public Library staff recorded the spoken word of these artists for Voices of Tacoma: A Podcast <https://www.beeugenebecreative.com/voicesoftacomapodcast>. TONIGHT, at 7pm at King’s Books <https://www.kingsbookstore.com/>, is the official Launch at the Bookstore <https://www.kingsbookstore.com/event/VoicesOfTacoma>! Join the poets to hear them read and meet them in person! Featured poets include: Frank D'Andrea, Jacque Lynn Schultz, Sandy King, Andrea Clausen, Tanner Abernathy, Erik Hanberg, Peter Jung, francis faye oak, Chloe Mohs, Dawn Ellis, John Lawrence, and Claudia Riiff Finseth. Upcoming Events Thursday, October 17 is the Official Launch at the Bookstore at King’s Books <https://www.kingsbookstore.com/event/VoicesOfTacoma>! Come to celebrate with the poets as they read their work and sign copies • 7pm-8:30pm Wednesday, October 23, is the first Open House with the Poets at Swasey Library • 6pm-7:30pm. Come join the poets and hear them read! Wednesday, November 20, we’ll continue the Open House with the Poets at Swasey Library • 6pm-7:30pm.
